During the summer of 2015, the Marywood Agency opened its doors with Kenny Gechter as Principal Agent. Although the Marywood Agency started doing business in 2015, the energy and vision behind the agency was born more than a decade ago. After starting a teaching career in Texas, Kenny and his family moved back to Michigan in 2003 and looked to Meemic for their insurance needs. Today, Kenny and his family are still members of Meemic because this is a company that stands for more than just selling insurance; for more than half a century, Meemic has been protecting teachers, educational employees and their families.

Besides being owner of the Marywood Agency, Kenny Gechter is still a full-time teacher at a middle school in Bloomfield Hills. The Marywood Agency was founded on the core beliefs of Service, Relationship and Dependability.
